Jessica Zizzo, PNMT, CMT, NCBTMB

Jessica Zizzo is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) specializing in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT), a technique developed by Douglas Nelson with whom she worked as a research and teaching assistant and as a PNMT in his Champaign, IL. clinics. She is board certified by The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the American Council on Exercise.
Jessica also earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2012 and a degree with honors from the Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy.
Jessica has completed the Level One Certification with the Titleist Performance Institute, designed to teach industry professionals how to increase player performance through a deep understanding of how the body functions during the golf swing.
About PNMT: Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT) uses a research-based approach to soft tissue therapy. Assessment and treatment are targeted to specific patterns of pain and postural distortion. It was developed by Douglas Nelson, a member of the International Myopain Association and the International Association for the Study of Pain. He has been in practice since 1977 and was awarded the 2013 Massage Therapy Educator of the Year and the 2015 Pioneer Award from the Illinois Chapter of the AMTA.
